OEC Action Fund Endorses Dr. Amy Acton for Ohio Governor and David Pepper for Lt. Governor 

Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund has announced its endorsement of Dr. Amy Acton for Ohio Governor and David Pepper for Lieutenant Governor.  

Dr. Acton and Pepper are dedicated to decreasing costs for Ohioans, including lowering energy bills through promoting clean energy throughout the state and reinstating energy efficiency, demand response, and other cost saving programs cut under HB6.  

Ohio is also facing rapid data center growth and needs a governor who will ensure data centers pay their fair share of energy demand, operate transparently, and protect natural resources and communities across Ohio. Dr. Acton and Pepper are ready to hold data centers accountable for their energy and water usage and make sure Ohioans benefit from jobs and economic benefits without affecting air or water quality across the state.
