OEC Action Fund Endorses Cincinnati Mayoral and Council Candidates

Cincinnati, OH — The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund today announced its endorsements in the Cincinnati Mayor’s and Council race ahead of the November General Election.

In the race for Mayor of Cincinnati, the OEC Action Fund endorses Aftab Pureval. Pureval released his Cincinnati Environmental Plan today which highlights commitments to climate action and environmental equity. 

“Aftab Pureval is strongly committed to fighting climate change and environmental injustice to ensure a healthier future for all Cincinnati residents. With equity at the forefront of his agenda, the OEC Action Fund is proud to endorse Aftab Pureval in the race for Cincinnati Mayor,” said Trish Demeter, Chief of Staff for the OEC Action Fund. “The people of Cincinnati deserve a mayor who will fight for their families by reducing emissions to ensure cleaner air to breathe, protecting residents' drinking water resources, expanding parks and green space for city residents, and securing good-paying green jobs. Aftab Pureval is the right candidate for the job.”
