OEC Action Fund endorses Columbiana County Park District levy campaign

The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund today announced its endorsement of the Columbiana County Park District levy campaign.

“We applaud Columbiana County Park District’s efforts to increase public access and acreage of quality natural space in Ohio to date,” said Max Schaefer, Northeast Regional Director for the Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund. “We urge all Columbiana County Residents to vote in favor of the park levy to provide access to Ohio’s vibrant natural landscapes and essential programming for the community.”

Columbiana County Park District maintains over 950 acres of park area and 17 miles of publicly-accessible trails. The district is home to parks like Hellbender Bluff Park which contains over 5 miles of trails, ranging from intermediate hiking trails to relaxing walking paths. These trails provide views of wildflowers, songbirds, butterflies with access to open fields, and of course, Hellbender Bluff.
