Today, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office certified revised summary language for a proposed referendum seeking to repeal House Bill 6.
In response, the following quote can be attributed in full or part to Trish Demeter, Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund advocate:
“House Bill 6 set Ohio backwards as it cut funding for critical renewable energy programs and bailed out antiquated nuclear and coal facilities, all while sticking Ohioans with dirtier air and higher utility bills. We are glad to see the referendum effort moving forward and stand ready to ensure Ohio doesn’t close the door on our clean energy future.”
