Columbus, OH — Today, the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund announced its final slate of local candidate endorsements as well as park levy endorsements across the Buckeye State ahead of the 2021 General Election.
“This year, we are thrilled to announce the largest and most comprehensive slate of local candidates endorsed by the OEC Action Fund in the organization’s history. The need for local action on climate change has never been more clear. These candidates, if elected, will help ensure Ohio communities have clean air, clean water, and access to vibrant parks for years to come,” said Trish Demeter, Chief of Staff for the OEC Action Fund.
“Access to nearby nature is critical to the health and wellbeing of our communities,” Demeter said. “We encourage voters in Delaware, Hamilton, Lake, Licking, and Muskingum counties to vote in favor of their respective park levies to provide access to Ohio’s vibrant natural landscapes and essential programming for the community.”
Please check the OEC Action Fund website (http://www.theoecactionfund.org/2021-endorsements) for the full list of more than 60 candidate endorsements.
