OEC Action Fund Endorses Crossman, Clark, and Sappington

Columbus, OH — The Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund today announced its endorsement of three candidates for statewide office: Representative Jeff Crossman for Attorney General, Councilmember Chelsea Clark for Secretary of State, and Auditor Taylor Sappington for Auditor of State.

“Corruption has plagued our state government for years. In 2022, we have an opportunity to elect leaders who will crack down on corruption and promote a clean future so that every Ohioan can enjoy clean air, clean water, public lands, and a robust democracy. That’s why the OEC Action Fund is proud to endorse Jeff Crossman for Attorney General, Chelsea Clark for Secretary of State, and Taylor Sappington for Auditor of State,” said Trish Demeter, Interim President of the OEC Action Fund. “This slate of environmental and democracy champions will lead our state into the future by targeting corruption, protecting the right to vote, and promoting a clean energy future for Ohio.”

These endorsed candidates join Nan Whaley and Cheryl Stephens who were endorsed by the OEC Action Fund for Governor and Lieutenant Governor in February.
