Columbus, OH — Today, the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Kathy Wyenandt (D) in the race for Ohio State Senate District 4.
“Ohioans deserve leaders who will fight for their clean energy future as well as their access to clean air, safe water, and local parks,” said Heather Taylor-Miesle, President of the OEC Action Fund. “Kathy Wyenandt is committed to standing up against polluting corporate interests and creating a healthier environment for her community. We are proud to endorse her in the race for Ohio Senate District 4.”
“We must protect our air, water and ultimately, the health of Ohioans by protecting and improving the environment—for us, our children and grandchildren,” said Wyenandt. “If we commit to a green, sustainable energy policy and enforce environmental laws on the books statewide, it’s estimated we can grow Ohio’s economy with tens of thousands of new manufacturing jobs and jobs that support sustainable energy technology.
