We call on Ohio lawmakers to stop taking any and all donations from Ohio utilities, and instead focus on creating the best energy policy for Ohioans and our environment. We also call for a full investigation of each and every one of former PUCO Chair Randazzo’s rulings at the PUCO and Ohio Power Siting Board. Each case he presided over is possibly tainted by corrupt ties to FirstEnergy. We need to repeal every last bit of HB 6 and hold every connected government official accountable to move Ohio forward.

The OEC Action Fund created the scorecard to hold Ohio lawmakers accountable for votes that damage our environment, as well as to celebrate those lawmakers who have championed pro-environmental legislation. The scorecard includes both narratives and scores that reflect state lawmakers’ and the DeWine Administration’s actions on key environmental legislation and decisions during the 133rd GA.

OEC Action Fund Announces Ohio Delegation Scores from LCV’s 2020 National Environmental Scorecard

The 2020 LCV Scorecard measures votes cast during the second session of the 116th Congress. In Ohio, four House members and Senator Brown earned a score of 90 percent or greater, while four House members earned an abysmal score of 10 percent or less. The average House score for Ohio was just 38 percent and the average Senate score was 54 percent.
